About Me
My dream to be a writer started in the fourth grade when my teacher chose me to represent our class and present my writing in a Young Author’s Conference in our county. Since then, writing has been a consistent part of my life.
With experience in Christian writing dating all the way back to my senior year of high school when I started a faith-based blog, my passion and skills for writing content that glorifies God have only grown.
In 2021, I graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee where I majored in English with a Double Concentration in Rhetoric & Writing and Literature and minored in Judaic Studies. During my time at UT, I gained the ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects, weave seamlessly from one writing style to another, and do the proper research to ensure a project’s accuracy.
From May 2022-May 2023, I worked full-time on the central team as a content writer at Faith Promise Church, a multi-site church in East Tennessee. I wrote and edited content for three ministries: fpKIDS, fpStudents, and fpGroups. During my time on staff at Faith Promise, our central kids team was able to successfully implement a brand new content strategy for our Sunday morning experience, for which I wrote video scripts that reflected Faith Promise values as well as small group content to complement the videos. Additionally, I wrote and edited large and small group guides for fpStudents, video scripts for the fpGroups YouTube Channel, as well as devotionals for the 2022 and 2023 Movement student conference and the 2022 and 2023 SummerFUN fpKIDS event.
Today, I live in Seymour, TN with my husband, Isaac, and our son while pursuing my dream of freelance writing and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a writer who is tenacious, open to feedback, and Kingdom-minded, contact me to see if I am the right fit for your project!
